I dug in the new stuff and old stuff piles this time! If you've been a listener, you'll notice I really like a band called Common Children. Their new CD is out and its called Entertaining Angels. The lead single is here.

Also new is Broken Tape Decks from LA Symphony. They are a great hip hop collective from- you guessed it- LA and their first CD has been sitting on the shelves at the label for a year. The label was shut down and folded into its parent company, so who knows when this will ever get released, but this song just rocks. Bob your head and wonder about the injustice of the music business.

I have always been a mild Dire Straits fan. I will freely admit that I put Brothers in Arms in the show because they featured the song on the season finale of the West Wing last season. Im a bandwagon jumper!

Space and Mexico is by the Uber-eclectic band Havalina. They get stanger as time goes on. This song is from a record called Space Love and Bullfighting. They once put one out called The Diamond in the Fish. Nuff Said.

As for the really old, I dug out Build Me Up Buttercup by the Temptations. You can never go wrong with the Temptations. They can sing 99 bottles of beer on the wall, and I bet it would sound cool.

Enjoy!

Next show- Christmas!
